Our aim is to provide a one stop shop for the electrical insulation, thermal and structural industries. With 25yrs experience in these industries UIPL is capable of working with your requirements and understand the products you require to get the project done.
UIPL was set up by Todd Littlehales, in response to noticing a gap in the market for a UK based insulation distributor, specializing in laminates and profiles along with a wide range of complimentary products. Todd has been in the electrical insulating industry for the past 25 years, starting in the transformer industry. For 10yrs he was European Sales Manager for Glastic Corp Cleveland Ohio, gaining valuable experience in the electrical insulating laminates industry. During this time Todd’s role as OEM business development manager led him to work with Blue-chip companies such as ABB, GE, Bussmann, Siemens etc.
Todd spent 8yrs as Haysite UK Managing Director, developing the Haysite brand in Europe.
In 2016 Todd formed a new business partnership with Universal Insulating Products LTD and WKT Press Technologies GmbH of Geeste Germany, WKT have invested heavily in the latest press technology, which enables them to manufacture laminates which are second to none in quality.
